" Boro" Blitz is part of the Middle Atlantic District for girls and boys . The SJ "Boro" Blitz has been a non-profit charted organization since
2000. Primarily a Girl's Basketball Organization (10u -17u) the organization has expanded with 10u-16u boy teams in 2005
and become one of the most Elite basketball organizations in the South Jersey area. The SJ "Boro" Blitz provides
opportunities for boys and girls to improve their basketball skills, develop character and compete against the best athletes
in the country. SJ "Boro" Blitz is dedicated to providing athletes with an opportunity to significantly improve
their skills by excellent coaching and competition in highly competitive tournaments. It is the goal of the SJ "Boro"
Blitz to help players improve their skills to such a level where they can be successful in playing at both high school and
collegiate levels. We are fortunate to have dedicated coaches providing excellent instruction to help every athlete be the
best that he/she can be at the game of basketball. Our hope is that the experience of the boys/girls with the SJ "Boro"
Blitz will be positive. Our organization is not just about basketball. Education, Discipline, Teamwork and Sportsmanship are
key elements in our organization.

The Blitz-Tunstall Girls 13U Team
Wins "1st Place" In AAU Mid-Atlantic District Qualifier!! The
2009 South Jersey "Boro" Blitz-Tunstall 13U Girls Basketball Squad consisting of: Aaliyah Saud, Autumn Price, Brittanie
Bingham, Dionna Tunstall, Drina Thornton, Gabriella Bennett, Gabrielle Brown, Micahya Owens, Nadja Riggsand Tyler Raysor,
Coached by Lisa Tunstall with Assistant Coaches Reggie Riggs, and Stephanie Bingham, won 1st Place in the 2009 AAU Girls 13U
Mid-Atlantic District Qualifier. After winning all of their games on Saturday,
the girls looked forward to Sunday and the possibility of "winning it all and all that goes with it". Sunday was
full of excitement, 3 challenging games with a final late evening victory beating the Atlantic Cape Wildcats 64-50; capping
off their AAU record of 11-0 Their winning efforts provided the opportunity for
the girls to represent the Blitz at the AAU 13U Girls Basketball Division II National Championships in Cocoa Beach, Fl. from July
10th-15th Good Luck Girls! THIS TEAM IS DEFINITELY ON THE MOVE!!!
The Blitz are members of;The Middle Atlantic District which is the seventh oldest district within the
AAU. The Middle Atlantic is comprised of the areas of New Jersey, south of Mercer and Monmouth County; all of the State
of Delaware and Pennsylvania, east of and including Bedford, Centre, Clinton and Potter Counties.
